Welcome to my SDA portfolio!
This portfolio is the culmination of two years of hard work in the Student Development Administration (SDA) graduate program and a lifetime of self-exploration.
My name is Alyssa Pereira (she, her, ella)
and I am in the pursuit of a career in student affairs. I will be taking the first step in my career as I obtain a Masters of Education in Student Development Administration from Seattle University in Spring 2020.
In May 2018, I graduated with a double major in Strategic Communications and International Studies from North Dakota State University (NDSU). During my junior year at NDSU, I was introduce to the world of student affairs and my path was ever changed. For the first time, I saw a career that would allow me to utilize my passions and skills while also making a positive impact on future generations. Furthermore, my time at NDSU was the most formative time of my life. If it were not for the student affairs professionals along the way, I would not be who I am today. If in my career I can impact just one student in the way they impacted me, then my professional cup will forever be full.
